can you still use multiple coupons even if they say limited one per purchase or customer

Reply

admin June 23, 2011 at 1:03 pm

It depends on your store’s policy as each is different, but more than likely if the coupon says “no doubles” allowed, than you probably won’t be able to use more than one. However, check with your store as it may be allowed.

I was just wondering I saw this program where the women bought 100′s of the same items, the bill was $1200.00 and she only paid like $20.00 for the $1200.00 dollars worth of merchandise, some even ahd a Negative balance where cash was owed back to them and still they walked out with $1900.00 worth of merchandise.

My question is, If they buy 100 deoderants costing $3.00 each, and have coupons for a dollar off each, are they using multiple of the same coupons for a single item? Confused.

Thanks!

Reply

admin June 23, 2011 at 1:00 pm

Yes, they are most likely using multiple coupons to get that savings. Although some coupons you cannot double, so it all depends on the manufacturer’s coupon and store policy.

Reply

rumpel stillskin July 17, 2011 at 8:53 pm

I think what you saw was where the item was originaly 3 dollare ubt curently on sale for 99 cents or so and the cupon is for like a dollar so they are owed 1 cent for every item… and like that…

If it’s a holiday weekend (possibly Labor Day), the inserts usually aren’t there unfortunately. However, you can usually find coupons that you can print. Some of these include the insert companies like SmartSource, Red Plum, Coupon Network, just to name a few.

I left out something else, the website I mentioned also they have an email info.you sign up for and they have the drugstores ad listed in advance before it hits the public, basically a sneak peak about 4 days before the sales so you can get the coupons you need before the sale to be ready. Also you stock up on certain coupons of everyday items you need and when the big sale happens like buy one get one free you can use two coupons on these, on the free item in most stores…just remember to get the big papers like san francisco chronicle etc..not your local ho hum paper they dont have the coupons, the coupons are on Sunday but not on Sundays where there is a Holiday. go to SUNDAYCOUPONPREVIEW and you will know the coupons that will be in that sundays paper in Advance.

I get my sunday cupons from my neighbors. It is surprising how many do not use cupons. So they save them for me. I am 75 years old and my wife is very sick. So with all the medical bills we have to save all we can. My grocery store doubles cupons so we can save a lot. I am not a extreme couponer, but I have averaged a 78% savings on all my grocery and personal care products. (Like getting $8.99 lb shrimp for $0.99 a pound, and body wash and shampoo for $0.29 a bottle, etc. You just have to watch the store sales and match them to your cupons. I spend about three houes a week “cuponing” and it is a lot of fun to get a hundred dollars of groceries for around twenty dollars.

Reply

admin November 30, 2011 at 7:24 pm

Great tips Glenn! Another tip on getting free papers besides your neighbors is to check with local restaurants, hotels, etc. which usually just throw them out at the end of the day.

I have a few questions and concerns.
I am young 21 years old and have watched extreme couponing for awhile now. I live in Toronto and some stores like freshco does not except online coupons. I’m new and this and want to start my own stock pile. But I am kind of nervous and don’t want to mess up and half to pay alot of money at the end cause I don’t have alot of money. Any advice anyone can help me and where can I get coupons in Toronto?

Reply

admin November 30, 2011 at 7:25 pm

If you have a printable coupon with a bar code and expiration date, the store should accept it, but each store has its own policy.

We do have an entire site just for Canada:

I live in Hondo Tx I have been watching extreme couponing. I’m a stay home mom and grandma. We live off my husbands income $600.00 a week. I’m trying to save money and I’m looking for good coupons and stores that take multiple coupons for a family of 7, please give me some tips on how to save money while using coupons?

Reply

admin November 30, 2011 at 7:26 pm

Check out your stores sale cycle as the same items typically will go on sale every couple of weeks or month. When you figure that out, only buy the items then to match with a coupon you have for the biggest savings.

Money Saver November 13, 2011 at 11:02 pm

Hi is this legit? I’m only a teenager, but I love money and saving money. I’m looking for coupons to help my parents save some money. I understand calculating all the coupons together because I’m already in geometry, but I just need some GOOD coupons to get started with. Any help would be great! :D Thanks!

Reply

admin November 30, 2011 at 7:28 pm

Start with printing your own coupons for free on the printable coupon sites that we offer from our newsletter so you don’t have to go to different websites as we list them all in one place.

Then, get as many newspapers you can if the inserts are full that week and start organizing all your coupons so you can see what you have available easily.

Our family of 4 (and a black lab) saved over $5,000 in groceries and gas alone in 2011 with coupons, sales, and register reward coupons.

We are firm believers in coupons sales and maintaining the quality

Our teenage boys won’t even think of buying a thing without looking for sales and coupons on top of the sales. Wish I would have done that over the years lol.
